In today’s fast-paced world, women are constantly juggling multiple roles and responsibilities. Whether it is meeting deadlines at work or managing a bustling household, the demands are relentless.

Amidst all this, finding time for self-love and self-care often takes a back seat. As a woman who has experienced the pressures of a demanding career and the challenges of homemaking, I understand the struggle all too well. There were days when I felt overwhelmed, stressed, and disconnected from myself. It was during these moments of exhaustion that I realised the critical importance of self-love and self-care.

Self-love is not just about indulgence, it is about acknowledging your worth and taking the time to nurture your mind, body, and spirit. Self-care is the practice of taking action to improve your health and well-being, and self-esteem comes from these acts of love and care. They are not luxuries but necessities that empower us to be our best selves.

This realisation sparked a journey of researching and experimenting with natural ingredients that not only care for the skin, but also provide moments of peace and rejuvenation. The goal was to create products that would offer women a brief escape, a few moments of tranquility, and nourishment to their skin in their hectic life.

And so Aalphul was born.

The word “aalphul” comes from a green abode of Northeast India — Assam. Meaning “tender love” in the Assamese language, Aalphul is more than just a skincare brand. It is a reminder to every woman that she deserves to feel cherished and valued, not just by others, but by herself too. Our products are crafted with the finest natural ingredients, designed to nourish the skin and soothe the senses. Every single use of an Aalphul product is an invitation to pause, breathe, and indulge in a moment of self-love and care. For the working woman, it is a gentle nudge to take break from the deadlines and assignments, to pamper herself and reconnect with her inner peace. For the homemaker, it a reminder that amidst the care she provides for her family, her own needs and wellbeing are equally important.

Our Team

Aradhana Changkakoti

While growing up in a number of picturesque small towns in the midst of Assam’s beautiful landscapes, Aradhana developed a fondness for, and a deep connection with nature. This connection continued to grow in her even as she became an engineer, and then an MBA, and then a working professional.

She started realising the importance of self-care and the critical role it plays in a woman’s mental and physical health while having to juggle her various roles as a professional, mother and wife. This awoke in her a deep desire to be able to contribute in some manner to helping women inter self-care journey.

After many years of trying out various initiatives, finally she was able to combine these abiding interests in nature and self-care to come up with Aalphul®. Her vision is for Aalphul® to contribute in a small way to a woman’s self-care journey by providing her safe, healthy and natural ingredients based skin care products that actually work.

Sadiah Almas Hussain

Sadiah  curates the experiences that our customers and followers have with Aalphul on social media. Using her creative talents and deep understanding of the brand and our consumers, she ensures that Aalphul’s social media strategy is always effective and on point.

Sadiah is a content writer, social media manager and creative lead who thrives on bringing fresh ideas to life. With a strong background in content creation and digital marketing. In her life in the non-digital world, she is a student of English Literature in Hindu College, and an aspiring writer.

Khushi Garg

Khushi is responsible for all the branding work that you see for Aalphul, be it on our packing, website or even Amazon. She has been working with us since the inception of the brand, and has been a core part of our success.

Khushi is a design professional with exceptional storytelling skills, inclined to addressing real world challenges through a combination of systems thinking, research and strategy.

Her portfolio and experience spans a range of projects, covering real such as services, branding publications, documentation, design direction and management. She has worked with both global clients like Yamazen, and Indian clients like JK Paper. She has also received global recognition in design from NASA Space Apps.

Jishnu Changkakoti

Jishnu handles marketing and brand strategy for Aalphul. In this role, he tries to use the experience from his past life as a marketing professional in companies like Johnson & Johnson and Samsung to ensure that Aalphul becomes a strong and sustainable brand that is also able to contribute in its own way to the betterment of the society that we live and operate in.

In his life outside Aalphul,  Jishnu is a professor of marketing in a number premier management institutes in India, ans also the co-founder of a marketing consulting firm named Strategy Partner. In terms of professional qualifications, he is a graduate from NIT Calicut and IIM Calcutta.

Anshu Changkakoti

Anshu is our CTO, handling all tech aspects of Aalphul. He is a seasoned Product Strategist with over 24 years of experience across enterprises and startups. A certified Product and Data Analytics professional, he has been instrumental in launching transformative digital products — including India’s first Mobile Money platform during his tenure at IBM. Anshu brings deep expertise in Product Management, Customer Experience (CX), SEO strategy and Go-To-Market execution. His work has helped multiple startups establish their online presence, optimize conversion, and grow user engagement organically. With a strong foundation in Agile methodologies, he thrives on solving complex problems with precision, creativity and data-backed insights. He is an alumnus of NIT Jaipur and FITT-IIT Delhi.
